Dr Saurabh Srivastava, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Pharmaceutics, Associate Dean & Chair-Board of Studies and Research, (NIPER), holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, Rajasthan and a PhD from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He has over 17 years of industrial and research experience working in reputed pharma companies including IPCA Labs, Wockhardt Research Centre, and Dr Reddy's Laboratories for the development and commercialisation of various NDA and ANDA-based products for different regulated markets.
His areas of research interest include the development and optimisation of differentiated formulations; (505(b)2, through the utilisation of micro/nanostructured targeted drug deliveries along with novel platform technologies for bioavailability enhancement, food effect minimisation, repurposing, synergism for FDCs, and dosing frequency reduction. His major areas of research also include neurodegenerative disorders, dermal diseases, colon targeting and prostate/breast cancer.
He has mentored 17 Master's Research scholars and seven PhD research scholars who are carrying out their doctoral research under his supervision. He and his research team are actively involved in the execution of several industrial and government-aided research projects for the establishment of novel differentiated product development. He has been awarded several appreciations and special recognition awards from industry and academia for his outstanding contribution to research and development. He has 10 international and national patents, one edited book, 15 book chapters, 40 research publications in reputed journals, and 400+ citations to his credit.

He has 20 years of all-around professional experience in research, sales, business development and marketing in the chemical and pharma industries. He has worked in various Indian and multinational companies like Unichem Laboratories, Ciba, Degussa, BASF and Avantor in various roles across research, marketing and business development. Rajkishor Rajak, Technical Marketing Manager, DuPont is responsible for growing the healthcare business in the India region. He also champions growth initiatives in marketing the Drug Delivery segment for the Asia Pacific region. He has overall 15+ years of experience in the Chemical industry. As a growth and innovation strategist, he has served different businesses, mainly Optical Fiber, Solar, Paint & Ink, Personal Care and Healthcare. Before joining Dow Corning (now part of DuPont), Rajak worked at Applied Materials and Sterlite Technologies in a variety of manufacturing and project management roles. Dr Bhavesh Patel, GM-Technical Service, Pharma Excipients and Nutraceutical ingredients - Asia Pacific Region, Fuji Chemical is an M. Pharm Gold Medallist from IIT-BHU and Ph. D in Pharmaceutics. His core area of research is the solubility enhancement of poorly soluble drugs.
Dr Patel has more than 13 years of experience in working with various organisations such as Zydus Cadila in the generic formulation R&D department and Evonik Industries as Technical Service Manager for pharma excipients business across India and the South East Asia region. He currently works for AstaReal India (A Fuji chemical group, Japan) at the Mumbai office for Technical support of pharma excipients and nutraceutical ingredients in the Asia Pacific region.
Dr Patel has published eight research articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and presented them at various international scientific events. Dr Patel's expert interest area is in solubility enhancement via hot-melt extrusion and spray drying, enteric pellets/tablet coating and troubleshooting of formulation challenges in oral solid dosage formulations.

Dr Baidyanath Mishra an Indian System of Medicine scholar is dedicated to the research and commercialization of the products from Natural Products. He has contributed and mentored team delivering across Wellness (Healthcare, Nutraceuticals, Functional Foods), Personal care Wellness (Topical, nutri-cosmetics), Animal Health Products including pet care in his 24 years career- starting from the integration, rationale, establishing proof of concept through various studies, compiling as per the standard regulatory authority and communicate through suitable public meetings.
He has developed more than 250 products in the span of his 24 years career into this natural products research.
Post his MD degree from Calcutta University, he started his industrial journey after associating R&D division of The Himalaya Drugs Company Bangalore. During his long journey he successfully led various critical portfolios of product delivery which itself individual business vertical - few to include Human Health Division of Natural Remedies, Katra Phyto India, Ayusante, Nutrinorm Wellness, S2 wellness.
